The Non Reluctant Reader Badge of Approval: The Crown of Embers by Rae Carso

The Non Reluctant Reader Badge of Approval Award is a monthly spotlight dished out to whatever book was my favorite of the month.
So, September was just an awesome month of books that contained new books from major authors in the business, such as Maggie Stiefvater's The Raven Boys or Libba Bray's The Diviners to name a couple. It was also a month of highly anticipated sequels such as The Crown of Embers by Rae Carson Betrayal by Gregg Olsen, Entice by Jessica Shirvington, and Glass Heart by Amy Garvey. And there were a few debuts that created some buzz such as Origin by Jessica Khoury. Oh and did I mention there was a new book from a little author named J.K. Rowling? So, umm, yeah, September was a good month for books, bad for our pocketbooks though. Anyway...
And the book of the month is...
The Crown of Embers by Rae Carson!
An excerpt from my review:
To put it bluntly, I think Rae Carsoler trying to play with the big boys.n should become queen of everything effect of immediately. She's that god of an author. In The Girl of Fire and Thorns she took us for a wicked wild ride through her amazing world. And compared to The Crown of Embers, The Girl of Fire and Thorns is a toddler trying to play with the big boys.

I'm honored to be considered, but do not currently have the time to pass the award on. Comments are the best award I can receive though! If the comment requires a reply, please be sure to check back for one. If it is a feature/meme leave a link to your post and I will stop by and comment if I get the chance!
